I live in New York City but was getting married in Indianapolis last October. I was referred to Cater It Simple through "The Knot.com". I'm sure most of you know by now that planning a wedding is hard work and for me planning it from states away was an even larger challenge. I was naive and skeptical to the entire process. One visit with Debi at Cater It Simple made all my worries....well, at least food -related worries completely melt away...much like her homemade chocolates we sampled! I was accompanied by my mother and now husband. She took the time to listen to all of us and our expectations as well as offered wonderful suggestions. The best part was that she was also able to accomodate our tight budget.
We have been married for a little over 6 months....we look back on that night often and laugh about things we would do differently....hiring Cater It Simple is one thing we would do over and over again- they are absolutely delightful!!

Debi Brim keeps it simple.
Debi catered my wedding on Dec.31, 2005. She was simply awesome. I probably called her a little over a month before the wedding and she was able to fit me into her schedule and as she says, she made it simple. She was able to provide me a list of her menu in a timely fashion and she allowed me to make my own decisions with help along the way.
During the tasting we were able to sample what we had discussed over the phone. The meatballs were good. There were some left and she allowed us to take them home. Needless to say they did not make it home. They were that good.
I have been to a lot of weddings and I have to say that our cake was simply great, so that I was sad that it was gone. I think that a lot of people get caught up in the different fillings and favors. We also wanted a gold color in the design of the cake. She took the time to experiment with colors to come up with something, it really worked out great.
I wanted it simple, she made it that way and it was good.

From our initial meeting with you to the day of our wedding, you had every detail in place, surprised us with little touches we wouldn't have expected and went above and beyond for us.
We have received so many compliments on our wedding cake. Based on our experiences with you from other weddings and our tasting with you, we knew it would taste delicious. However, you captured the design and look we wanted perfectly! We also very much appreciated your flexibility and desire to work with us on a design and even some last minute changes.
Our reception food was fantastic! After having met with several other caterers around the area, we really liked the range of food and the exceptionally reasonable food packages you provided. And, once again, when we came to you with an idea, a substitution, or a question, you proved to be so flexible and accommodating to make our meal just what we wanted. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and sometimes the wedding professionals can add to that stress. I can honestly say that each and every time we came to you with a question or concern, you immediately put our minds to ease, took care of our request, and assured us that you would make our reception meal wonderful....and you did! We were so thankful to be able to work with someone like you!
You can be sure that we will recommend Cater It Simple to any friends looking for caterers, as we have already done. Thank you for not only providing the services we contracted with you, but for caring about us and our desires for our wedding day. You captured our plans and visions and your professionalism and personal touches put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the day.

Debi was hired to cater all meals for a three-day leadership institute for our organization, a national men's fraternity....The quality and quantity of the food she provided was perfect! Our leadership institute participants - mostly fraternity men - were satisfied, many of whom went back for seconds and thirds!

My cake was AMAZING and more beautiful than I could have imagined. Debi (the owner and cake-maker) also made the cookies for my reception which were delicious and wonderful! You can't find a better cake and the prices were incredibly reasonable!!
